A Butterfly’s Lesson One day, a small opening appeared on a cocoon; a man sat and watched for the butterfly for several hours as it struggled to force its body through that little hole.Then, it seems to stop making any progress.It appeared as if it had gotten as far as it could and it could not go any further.So the man decided to help the butterfly: he took a pair of scissors and opened the cocoon.The butterfly then emerged easily.But it had a withered body, it was tiny and shrivelled wings.The man continued to watch because he expected that, at any moment, the wings would open, enlarge and expand, to be able to support the butterfly’s body, and become firm.Neither happened!In fact, the butterfly spent the rest of its life crawling around with a withered body and shrivelled wings. It never was able to fly. What the man, in his kindness and his goodwill did not understand was that the restricting cocoon and the struggle required for the butterfly to get through the tiny opening, were God’s way of forcing fluid from the body of the butterfly into its wings, so that it would be ready for flight once it achieved its freedom from the cocoon. Sometimes, struggles are exactly what we need in our life.If God allowed us to go through our life without any obstacles, it would cripple us. We would not be as strong as we could have been. Never been able to fly. I asked for Strength...And God gave me difficulties to make me strong.I asked for Wisdom...And God gave me Problems to solve. I asked for prosperity...And God gave me a Brain and Brawn to work.I asked for Courage…..And God gave me obstacles to overcome.I asked for Love...And God gave me Troubled people to help.I asked for Favors...And God gave me Opportunities. “I received nothing I wanted...But I received everything I needed."Live life without fear, confront all obstacles and evince that you can overcome them.某天，一个闲人无事，坐在一个角落里静静地观望着面前一个普通的蝴蝶茧。那个蝴蝶茧刚刚结束了封闭的状态，在茧的一端张开了一个小小的洞。这只蝴蝶做了数小时的挣扎似乎就是为了让身体穿出□上那个小小的洞。然而，一切都是徒劳，蝴蝶没有能够破茧而出。茧里的蝴蝶安静下来，好象它已经用尽了所有的力气，无法再做任何的努力了。于是，这位闲人决定帮助这只可伶的蝴蝶。他拿起一把剪刀，把茧给剪开了。蝴蝶轻易地出来了，可是，它身体干瘪，翅膀无力。帮助它的闲人想：一会儿会好起来的，它的身体会变得饱满有力，它的翅膀会变得坚强，它会飞向花丛林间的。可惜没有，闲人的想象并没有发生。这只可怜的蝴蝶终身只能爬行，永不能飞翔。原来蝴蝶必须通过艰难的“破茧而出”的过程。只有在那不屈不挠地让身体通过茧上的那个小小洞口的过程中，它身体的溶液才能转移到翅膀上，使身体和翅膀都变得强壮。这样一旦破茧而出，蝴蝶便可以飞翔。闲人的好心好意破坏了蝴蝶自强的过程，毁坏了蝴蝶的一生。故事的用意并不是指责闲人的帮助，相反：Some times，struggles are exactly what we need in our life。有时，挣扎正是我们生活的必需的一部分。如果上帝让我们轻轻松松没有波澜地来消费时光，我们可能永远不会表现出我们应有的坚强，我们永远也无力飞翔。我们祈求力量，上帝送给我们困难，让我们在克服困难中强壮。我们祈求智慧，上帝送给我们问题，让我们在解决问题中变得聪明。我们祈求富裕，上帝送给我们大脑和肌肉，让我们在工作中致富。我们祈求勇气，上帝送给我们磨难，让我们在征服磨难中勇敢坚强。我们祈求爱情，上帝送给我们有难的人们，让我们在帮助中得到关怀和爱护。我们祈求好运，上帝送给我们机会，让我们把握。

A man walks into a bar and says, "Bartender, give me two shots." Bartender says, "You want them both now or one at a time?" The guy says," Oh, I want them both now. One's for me and one's for this little guy here," and he pulls a tiny three inch man out of his pocket. The bartender asks "He can drink?" "Oh, sure. He can drink." So the bartender pours the shots and sure enough, the little guy drinks it all up. "That's amazing" says the bartender. "What else can he do, can he walk?" The man flicks a quarter down to the end of the bar and says, "Hey, Jake. Go get that." The little guy runs down to the end of the bar and picks up the quarter. Then he runs back down and gives it to the man. The bartender is in total shock. "That's amazing" he says, "what else can he do? Does he talk?" The man says "Sure he talks, hey, Jake, tell him about that time we were in Africa and you made fun of that witch doctor's powers!" The story of a very short man

Dead Kitty Once there was a man named Jim, who let his dog out to relieve himself late one night. He watched some TV, and then remembered to let the dog back in. When he opened the door, he was shocked at what he saw! In his dog's mouth was his neighbor's cat, dead! "Bad dog! BAD DOG!", said the panicked man. He took the cat away and looked at it. He couldn't bring himself to tell his neighbor what happened, so he decided to clean it up and leave it on the neighbour's porch. He took the cat into the bathroom and washed off all the blood and dirt. It took him forever. He had to wash it four times to get it all cleaned. He brushed it's beautiful white fur as he blow dried it, and put it's collar back on. Since it was so dark, he snuck into the neighbor's yard, and laid the cat down on the porch, in front of the door. The next day, he was on his way to the car to go to work and his neighbor was outside. "Hi," he said. "Hi," replied Jim, nervously. His neighbor said, "something weird happened last night." "Oh yeah? What's that," asked Jim, sweating now. "Well, my cat died yesterday, and we buried him, and this morning he was lying on my front porch!"
