My hometown is in Foshan. The changes in Foshan are really great!

I remember when I was two or three years old, the houses here were so dilapidated, low and low, and the roof was made of tiles.

When it rained, the tiles were not strong, and the water dripping from the tiles was disgusting. At that time, naive I could not help but wonder: why is this house so dilapidated and annoying?

Childhood, after all, is short. Time flies, time flies. I went to school at the age of seven. The house has also changed. Low and damp brick houses have been demolished and covered with buildings and roads.

The building is not made of bricks and tiles as before. It has only one floor. Now it has been replaced with steel, cement and porcelain... It is as high as seven or eight floors, and there is a terrace garden.

Some flowers and trees were planted around to purify the air. Every family installs windows to let people see the outside world.

Throughout the year, flowers and trees bring beauty to the house.

我的家乡在佛山，佛山的变化可真是大啊！

记得我二三岁时，这儿的房屋是那样的残残旧旧，又低又矮，房顶是用瓦做成的，一下雨，那瓦又不结实，水就从瓦里往下滴，令人恶心。那时候，天真幼稚的我，不禁产生这样的疑问：这房子为什么这么破烂，令人生厌呢？

幼年，毕竟是短暂的。光阴似箭，岁月如流，我七岁上学，这房子也发生了变化，低矮潮湿的砖瓦房被拆除了，盖上了幢幢的楼房大道，那楼房不像从前那样只用砖瓦做成，只有一层楼，现在已经改用钢、水泥、瓷片……又有七八层楼那么高，还有楼台花园呢。

周围都种上了一些花草树木，说是净化空气。家家户户都装上窗，让人们看到外面的世界。

一年四季，花草树木给房子带来了美。
