我在这里给你两篇!(一）"My Middle school"Being in high school to me is hell, like being stuck in a box that you can’t get out of… and that deeply irritates me. My middle name is Ru Hong, which means big bird of luck which is kind of embarrassing when my friends ask me what it means; sure it’s funny but humiliating at the same time. I received that middle name from my grandparents who live in Taiwan who are very old. I’ve seen them about 4 times in Taiwan. I enjoy going to Taiwan because it’s a very different place compared to the U.S., it’s a very carefree place in which people don’t care about anything, and they just care about themselves which I find very cool. The thing that peeves me off immensely is how people judge you just by how you look and not by what you’ve accomplished or have done in life. It irritates me because it happens way too often. I’ve never gotten close to dying before but the closest that I have gotten was when I got off the school bus on the way to my house, I was walking in front of the bus to cross the road and all of a sudden the bus driver honked the horn making me jump, I was lucky the driver did that because if I wouldn’t have jumped, I would of walked into a speeding car that would of done a lot of damage. High school is what I thought it would be… just a bunch of kids trying to act like adults, trying adult things, never acting their age. High school was an experience that was fulfilling at times and very rapacious at times, I learned a lot of new fascinating things which is cool but I don’t know if ill ever use those things in the future, sure I would like to but the problem is remembering those things. On the weekends I enjoy going hiking or playing airsoft or just sitting around the house watching TV, trying to pass time（二）“Name Is Way a to Identify You”“Hey catty, fatty,” this was my nickname when I was in middle school and till sophomore year of my high school. My actual name is Kartik Parikh, and I really hate my name because word “Kartik” means a person who causes fights between to people that’s why they used to call me catty and they added fatty because it rhymes. When I was in sixth grade I used to tell my mom to change my name every day. They always used to get depressed and I felt guilty after a month or so I stopped telling them because I realized that the name they gave me was name of a God and it was popular during those times. But I had precise point because I thought that my nickname would stay with me whole life and everybody in high school, and at my job. I thought that I would change my name from Kartik to Dravid. But when I got guts to go and change my name I heard that we are moving to U.S. All my tension went away because nobody up here knows the meaning of Kartik. I came here and nobody knew how to pronounce my name it bothered me for couple of days but after one week it didn’t because I didn’t knew how to pronounce other people right. I felt that time it doesn’t matter by what name they call me but it matters who we are with. Sometimes I miss my nickname because people who used to call me that those were my friends and I miss hanging out with them. I got hang of my name and after this assignment I really started like my name and would never change my name a bit.

如果叙述的是过去的事情可以是过去时，你之所以会觉得奇怪是因为以下几点：简单现在时主要用来谈某人习惯或经常做的事，提及人或事物长期或固定的状态，说明按常理应该存在的情况，转述别人不久前对自己说过的话，尤其是所说的情况现在仍然存在，讨论书本电影等的内容，讲故事，作说明或现场报道。所以，只要你明白了什么时候该使用一般现在时，这样就ok了。如果你以第一人称写，但是追述的是过去的情况，那么可以使用一般过去式，说将来就可以写一般将来时，根据具体的语境和情况而进行，这样的小说比较符合常态，看看国外的英文小说原著不难发现这一点。不过一般的还是过去时态演变出的各种类型比较多。。。希望能够帮到你，预祝你小说早日完稿。。。。
