Me:

The clock is ticking and tomorrow is my special day.

I wonder what people will say.

Will they greet me or just say hi.

Ha-ha as if they all remember my natal day.

Mther:

Oh! One thing I realize as I get little older is that we should value our lives and spend it meaningfully.

Dream big and set plans.

I thank God for helping me to achieve my goal each year.

Although not everything is perfect, but somewhat closer to that. I surpassed my 2016 with a #goalmet and proudly to say that building my own family is a gift.

Thank you God for the most special gift I got last year. Soon I will get to see it. I do promise to take good care of it.

Me and my husband waiting for our fruit. A fruit made with love. A fruit that we dream of. A special gift that forever we will treasure. A baby I will name as baby Z.

I'm just sitting here in my room today, listening to music while it rains outside my window, and I can't stop thinking about how happy I am and how great my life is. There's nothing particularly special about it - I'm not rich or famous, I'm not exceptionally talented, and I don't do anything particularly fabulous for a living. But I feel somewhat organized, I have a clean room and a car and a job, and most of all what makes it great is the mere fact that I feel happy.

I know this may not seem like the most interesting story in the world, but when I was twelve, I was deeply suicidal.

I'm sharing my good mood today because I know there are tons of people out there who struggle with life.

Not even necessarily the outward details of their lives, but the inner demons that exist within their minds.

I want you to know - if that's you - that the mere possibility of reaching a place of inner peace is worth it. It is worth hanging on for.

I was probably 25 when happiness and contentment became my default emotions. It took a long time, and it took a lot of change, pain and growth. But now that I'm here, it feels permanent. And the emotions of the past feel like they happened to someone else. They are so foreign and distant to me. For some, it may take even longer, and it may take even more. But I cannot imagine even for a second that the struggle wouldn't be worth it if this is the end result.

That's it. I just wanted to share my positive vibes with everybody. The world can be an amazing place if you let it, and you can be an amazing person. You probably already are. Good luck, and please never give up. I hope that today, you all feel a little bit of love. Thanks for reading.

I've been job hunting for about eight months.

A few weeks ago I went to an interview and handed off my car to the valet guy.

As I was waiting for the elevator I heard him tell his coworker that he would kill for a coffee, so after my interview I stopped at the cafe in the lobby and grabbed one for him.

He was super grateful and asked for my business card.

I gave it to him, thinking maybe he wanted to send me a thank you email or something.

The next day I got a call from the manager at this big staffing agency in our city. She was the valet guy's cousin and he asked her to call me. I ended up meeting with her in person, and after only a week she found me my dream job. Today was my first day, and it went perfectly.

Be nice to everyone, all the time.

Honourable judges,ladies and gentlemen,

Good afternoon! Today I would like to talk about the importance of keepingoptimistic. When we encounter difficulties in life,we notice that some of uschoose to bury their heads in the sand. Unfortunately, however, this attitudewill do you no good, because if you will have no courage even to face them, howcan you conquer them? Thus,be optimistic, ladies and gentlemen,as it can giveyou confidence and help you see yourself through the hard times, just as WinstonChurchill once said,“An optimist sees an opportunity in every calamity; apessimist sees a calamity in every opportunity.”

Ladies and Gentlemen, keeping optimistic, you will be able to realize, inspite of some hardship, there’s always hope waiting for you, which will lead youto the ultimate success. Historically as well as currently, there are too manyoptimists of this kind to enumerate.

You see,Thomas Edison is optimistic; ifnot, the light of hope in his heart could not illuminate the whole world. AlfredNobel is optimistic; if not,the explosives and the prestigious Nobel Prizewould not have e into being. And Lance Armstrong is also optimistic; if not, thedevil of cancer would have devoured his life and the world would not see a5-time winner of the Tour De France.

A rose may be beautiful,or maybe not; that depends on your attitude only, and so does success,so does life. Hindrances and difficulties do exist, but ifyou are optimistic, then they are only episodes on your long way to the throneof success; they are more bridges than obstacles! Now I prefer to end my speechwith the great British poet Shelley’s lines: “If winter es,can spring be farbehind?” Thank you!

Good afternoon,ladies and gentlemen!

I’m very honored to stand here and give you a short speech! my topic isOpportunities and Challenges.

First,I would like to know, what does your destiny offer you? Happiness, wisdom,a strong body or something else. If I had asked this question topresident Nixon,he would probably had said,”Our destiny offers not the cup ofdespair, but the chalice of opportunity.”

Needless to say,one of the biggest opportunities given to China is the 20xxOlympic Games. Till now,we have used two sevenths of the preparation time. Howmuch changes have you seen? New roads, new subway lines,public-exercisingequipments with beautiful colors, large blocks of grass fields, and also lots ofmodern gyms which are under construction.

Other than those, there are even more good effects brought to us by theOlympic Games that cannot be seen directly. For example, more and more peoplewill get to know China.

I’m sure the mysterious Chinese culture will attractthem strongly. And the games will also do good to the economy and environment, for it is gaining the attention of foreign investors and the awareness ofenvironmental protection is being strengthened. What is more,Olympic Games givea unique opportunity to inspire and educate a new generation of Chinese youthwith the Olympic values and the Olympic spirit. Now that we have seen so manyadvances, could you even imagine us losing the holding rights?

I’ve already said a lot about the Olympics and China. But I think everyoneshould use some time to think of this question,”Does the Olympic Games have anyspecial meaning to you?”

For us,I mean the Chinese youth,20xx Olympic Games is a tremendous gift.Because what we are waiting for is to do something significant as repaying thelove given to us .The society is just like a ship, and in our dreams the captainis waving his hand and saying ”Hey! Come here and take the helm! ”How charminghis voice is,but we have never heard of it in our true life.

This morning, however, when we wake up,we will see the Olympic Games waving its hand. Afterchewing, most of us will have at least one plan about what to do for the OlympicGames. And mine is to be a “forter” ----that is someone who will give fort toothers.

At the end of my speech,I hope all the preparation will go well, andeveryone will show their ability to the world. Let us seize opportunities andgive a big smile to challenges.

On New Year's Eve,our class had a party. The atmosphere was good. It was outof the ordinary from the very begining. The boy student from one bedroom gave anunusual performance. We saw a boy named Li Xinmin turn off all the lights in asudden snap. Then with three resounding crow of a cock echoing in the hall, thehall was again brightly lit in a snap.

Then, the representative of the bedroom Zhu Guozhang asked us to guess a lineof a poem related to the above situation. He added that Li Xinmin alone was bornin the year of the dog and the other three were all born in the year of thechicken. They left us all in confusion. And it was our monitor who wasquickwitted. He shouted our,“The day breaks as the cock crows three times atdawn.” The hall After that, they had another item.

This time Li Xinmin was placed in the middle of the circle. While he wasstanding there, the other three stood around him, each bowing down to him at anangle of 120 degrees. It was an idiom. This time I got it right:“The dog standsout among a group of chickens.”

Then we all sang and played games until it was eleven o'clock at night. Theold man on night watch came to turn off the lights. We had to tear ourselvesaway from the party.

From this activity,I discovered that many of our classmates are reallytalented singers.

Nowadays, the employment of college students is becoming more and more of aproblem. According to statistics, about 30% of graduate students can't find ajob after graduation. These college student who cannot find jobs are at theirworst. Why college graduates have difficulty finding jobs? Why is it a bigproblem that puzzled people for years?

The reason for it is various. The main reason has the following points:Firstly, the number of the college student is increasing faster and faster theseyears. In addition, many colleges and universities fail to adapt their coursesto the development of economy.

Secondly, It's easy for some students to find work. But the fact is that somestudents don't want to do the job, they except to find a work with a highersalary. In addition, some graduates did not work hard in college, so they arenot competent for jobs they want.

Last but not least, some college students cannot come to terms withthemselves and with the world around them. They pursue too high goals and aretoo particular about such factors as working conditions, salary, and so on.Therefore, they are reluctant to accept the job when they are offered tothem.

How can we deal with the problem? In my opinion, students who are in collegesmust work harder than before to keep their competitiveness. Only in this way canwe find a suitable job. The government should take effective measures to expandemployment. I do believe that this problem will be resolved soon.
