个人觉得还是二楼的同学说的中肯些。作为04年毕业的英语专业学生，毕业后从事的职业一直与英语有关系，而且很幸运的一直是走翻译的道路，而没有做外贸行业（本人对外贸行业没有任何成见，只是做外贸的同学都比较辛苦，一般一周六天班是非常正常的作息时间，当然工资也高）曾做过旅行社计调翻译、行政翻译，最后是机械方面的项目翻译。个人建议：作为刚毕业的学生，如果想走翻译的道路，在投简历的时候就要比较确定自己的目标，因为一般外贸员，行政员这些职位也会具有一定的吸引力。最初的工作可能并不是非常专业化，也许什么内容都有，但是一旦进入比较大型的企业，即使你不想学，工作环境也会令你迅速成长，并学到非常多的专业词汇（本人在第三份工作中提升最快，并迅速向机械专业翻译靠拢），只要多和外国客户接触，工作上会如鱼得水的。优势：如果进入大公司做项目翻译，工资相对会比较高。而且比较稳定。而且工作时比较容易获得成就感和满足感。劣势：对女性而言，如果业务繁忙，又需要出差的话，可能会有点不方便吧。 另外，如果做单纯的翻译，后期钱可能没有做外贸的多。因为外贸员可以自己开拓业务，拿业务提成，这个工资就是个无底洞了。最后，祝你可以早日实现自己的梦想哦~

Fluent in both English and Chinese, I frequently translate for other people. Though most everyday language are easy to handle, profesional vocabulary often require more knowledge. Also hard are slang or proverbs. But through such training, I am improving my understanding of both languages and cultures. I am also glad that I can help with others.
