商业信函是商业活动中不可缺少的部分。它在常用英语的基础上，加入商业英语及其习惯用语。如果要写出一份内容、格式都非常规范的商业信函，必须做到以下几点：用语要正确；内容力求完整，但追求简洁明快；要遵循一定的格式，熟记一些实用句型，多写多练。 商业信函的格式特别固定，一般有引言部分、正文部分和结束部分构成。三者缺一不可。 在商业信函中得体的称呼特别重要。例如，对男人要称Mr.(先生)，对已婚女子称Mrs.(夫人)，对未婚女子称Miss（小姐）。对夫妇俩人才称Mr.and Mrs，等等。在正式的英国英语中用“Dear sir,”、“Dear sirs,”、“Dear madam,”“Dear Mr.Smith”等等，美国英语中则用“Dear sir：”、“Gentalman”、“Dear Mr.Smith:”等等，在私人信件中，英国英语用“Dear Mr.Zhang,”、“My dear Brenda,”等等。而在美国英语中则用“Dear Mr.Zhang:”、“My dear Brenda:”等等。美国英语与英国英语之间称呼无非是标点符号的区别，前者在称呼号后加冒号，而后者则用逗号。 收信 Receive a letter hear from Receive是及物动词，“接收，收到”，后要加上a letter 即指“收到一封信”，而heart from是意思就是“收到·······的来信”，后面不用加任何表示信件的名词，而直接加地方或是人。 Sentence Pattern Yesterday I received a letter from your company.
