raise

二、用法不同
raise
raise的基本意思是“向上动”“从低处向高处上升”,可指不太费力地将物体举向高处或将其从较低的平面移至较高的平面,也可指把某物垂直竖起来(即一头着地)。raise也常用于比喻，如提高政治觉悟、生活水平、物价、温度、声音、税率等。引申也可表示“筹集“养大”“饲养”等。
