不然会感冒的英文

我的理解：多穿点衣服，实际上想表达的意思是穿暖和点。如果直译为put on more clothes, 多少有一点儿Chinglish的味道。英语当中有一个很地道的表达法，to bundle oneself up，意思就是穿暖和点儿，多穿点儿衣服的意思。这里正好用上。建议译为：Bundle yourself up before you go outside, otherwise you'll be likely to catch a cold. 外出的话穿暖和点，否则你会感冒的。

You'd better put on the coat, otherwise you will get cold.

catch a cold，have a cold这两个动词短语均可作“得了感冒，患了感冒”解，但具体运用时是有区别的。(1)catch a cold 强调动作。如： It's cold outside. Go into the house or you'll catch a cold.外面冷。到房间里去吧，不然你会感冒的。 (2)have a cold 强调状态。 如：I have had a cold for several days and I can't get rid of it.我感冒已经好几天了，可还是好不了。

have是长动词（延续性动词） 而get是短动词（短暂性动词）用在现在时的时候二者可互换用在完成时的时候,若用How long提问则只恩能够用have a cold.如：How long have you had a cold?When did you get a cold?
