一、party

1、含义：n. 聚会；宴会；政党；一伙人；[律]当事人。vi. 开派对

2、用法

party的基本意思是“集会”，指社交性的或娱乐性的集会，是可数名词。

party也可作“党,政党”解，为可数名词。在句中用作主语表示党的整体组织时，谓语动词用单数形式; 表示其每个成员时，谓语动词用复数形式。

It's a pity that you can't come to the party.

二、interesting

1、含义：adj. 有趣的；引人入胜的

2、用法

interesting的意思是“令人感兴趣的，有趣的”，指人或物时，表示具有能唤起某人心理或情感方面兴趣的能力，而不表示兴趣的程度或原因; 指书、戏剧、影视等时，则表示具有较强的娱乐性，而且能使人消愁解闷。

This book is interesting.

三、lively

1、含义：adj. 活泼的； 活跃的； 栩栩如生的； 真实的。adv. <废语>生机勃勃地

2、用法

作形容词有“积极的，活跃的”之意，lively侧重指轻快，机智，有生气。

He is an outgoing and lively person.

他是个性格开朗而又活泼的人。

四、eating

1、含义：v. 吃；吃饭；喝

2、用法

eat的基本意思是“吃”，指人或动物把食物放在口里咀嚼并吞咽进去的过程，引申可表示一种类似咀嚼动作的缓慢、逐渐的消耗、损坏过程,即“蛀，腐蚀，侵蚀”等。

I often eat oatmeal as breakfast.

我经常吃燕麦粥当早饭。

五、happy

1、含义：adj. 高兴的；幸福的；幸运的；乐意的

2、用法

happy的基本意思是“幸福的”“快乐的”，指人在各种状态(如事事顺利)下的愉快、快乐或满足的心理状态。

happy在句中可用作定语、表语，必须以人作主语，不用于以it充当形式主语的结构中。

I am so happy to hear of your engagement.

听到你订婚我很高兴。
